Sadie - Owner + Stylist

I began my journey in cosmetology in 2008 and have continued my education ever since, constantly growing my knowledge and passion for hair. What started as Shear Wisdom, my single-chair studio, has grown into the Shear Wisdom Salon we know and love today — proudly opened in 2020.

I’m deeply passionate not only about creating beautiful hair but also about caring for our planet. That commitment comes together in my one-of-a-kind, sustainable salon where creativity and environmental mindfulness meet in perfect harmony.

Outside the salon, I serve as the Director of Certification Assessment for the Board of Certified Haircolorists (BCH). In this role, I work alongside talented, like-minded colorists who have become assessors for the BCH Certification program.

When I’m not behind the chair or contributing to the industry, I love spending time at home in Conifer with my partner, Matt, and our three dogs — Violet, Luna, and Corben. (If you’re lucky, you might even meet Corben at the salon!)

For me, it’s not just hair — it’s art.

Jacque - Stylist

I’ve been in the hair industry since 2018, and I’m passionate about helping people feel confident through personalized haircare. Healthy hair and scalp are always at the heart of my work, and I’m dedicated to using sustainable practices that care for both you and the environment.

I specialize in curly and thick hair, but I love working with all textures and helping each guest discover their unique style.  Whether you’re looking for a fresh cut, a bold new color, or a subtle change, I bring a detail-oriented eye to every service so you leave feeling confident.

Originally from New York, I’ve called Colorado home since 2007. When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me out in the mountains with my two kids, or at a concert soaking up the music. Colorado has so much to offer, and I love embracing every bit of it.

Rachel - Stylist

I moved to Colorado to be closer to my family. When I’m not behind the chair you’ll usually find me exploring in the kitchen or catching a WNBA game. I also love thrifting for unique finds and altering them to fit my style. My favorite way to relax is taking trips—whether they’re big adventures or little weekend getaways.

I started my beauty career over a decade ago at Gene Juarez Academy in Seattle, where I trained as a Hair Design Specialist. After five years focused on cutting, I began incorporating color into my craft. I’ve loved the creativity and balance that comes from doing both cut and color ever since.

I work exclusively with an Italian made product line called Davines. Why? They stand by their motto which is “Do our best for the world, creating good life for all, through beauty, ethics, and sustainability”. They make it easy to create beautiful results while always keeping sustainability in mind.

At the end of the day, I enjoy helping clients feel like the best version of themselves with hair that’s happy, healthy, and uniquely theirs.

Bronwyn - Stylist Apprentice

I’ve been experimenting with hair color since sixth grade, and I’ve always loved the confidence and individuality it brings. That same joy is what I hope to share with my guests in the salon.

I’d describe myself as a “shy social butterfly”—perfectly happy to enjoy peaceful silence or to have an easy, pleasant conversation while we create your look together.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me with my family—my partner Daniel, our sweet baby boy Ezra, and our four lively dogs: Koda, Daxtor, Bella, and Artemis.

I’m excited to grow my skills, build my guest list, and help each person who sits in my chair feel more like themselves.
